Students benefit from visiting the Santa Clara Fire Museum by participating in lessons geared toward grade-level standards, as described in the document, History–Social Science Content Standards for California Public Schools. Museum volunteers are dedicated to helping teachers maximize the value of a museum visit. Contact the museum staff for further information.
Learn to be Safe!
Fire and life-safety education is the hallmark of the Santa Clara Fire Museum. We have a variety of materials available to teachers to reinforce the safety messages learned through a visit to the museum. You'll find a sample of our fire prevention materials here on our website, courtesy of the National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA).
